Comment
Add a CommentGreat insight into Red Deer native Ron MacLean. A look at his work on air, behind the scenes and dealing with tempermental commentator Don Cherry. An interesting read for any hockey fan.
If you like HNIC, you'll like this book. You see a different side of Ron, as well as finding out his history. It was a decent, light read and worth while for any hockey fan.
terrible book - did not realize that Ron MacLean was such a snot... disappointed... very scattered poor writing... DO NOT READ THIS.
could not disagree more
What a sad thing NHL hockey has become. Back in the 1950s, men would dress up in a suit and tie when they went to Maple Leaf Gardens - it was about showing "respect for the game." Now it's been reduced to a sad spectacle of hooligans destroying their brains, cheered on by the likes of Don Cherry. Tragic.
