Rated 6/10. Initially, this was a rather average movie, but it was the ending that bumped my rating up to a 6. Nice twist!
This could have been much better though if the moral dilemma of the body transferring bit had been properly…

Surprisingly good; even with Ben Kingsley is no guarantee of a good product (see the awful TV mini series Tut--or, rather, please ignore it.), and Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds isn't quite Ryan Gosling. The theme here (extended life and…

Action/SciFi/Thriller. What haven't we seen in this genre? In the case of SELF/LESS, nothing. The evil scientist. The pining female companion. The adorable little girl. It's all color by numbers. But Ryan Reynolds is a bankable star. He's…

Ryan Reynolds and Ben Kingsly were great. Overall this is a more or less mediocre movie. Worth a watch if you have the time to kill and you don't have to pay for it.

Excellent thriller that is clever and engaging. This is one of the few movies that I would have paid to see in a theatre and not felt ripped off upon leaving.

Excellent film. Ben Kingsley is only in it for a short while but is powerful as always. Ryan Reynolds does a really good job carrying the storyline. NOT filled with action but rather makes you think. Somewhat predictable, yes, but…

Not brilliant, but not bad. Well paced, easy to watch, kept my interest (a little obvious, but that's okay), and the acting was better than most B movies. This movie is for the Sci-Fi fan. Not intended to be an art movie or Oscar nominee,…

(1 star at Rotten Tomatoes, 1.5 stars at Metacritic and 3 stars at IMDb.) The premise of transferring a person's consciousness to another person is conceivable as a futuristic sci-fi but not through the sophomoric operation in this film.…

Acceptable sci-fi story, though the premise of the film that someone's identity can be transferred into another healthier body is not what I would call "smart science". We are so far away from this scientifically, yet the filmmakers think…

Personally I loved it. I think the reason alot of people didn't like it is because it doesn't fit a typical genre. It's "smart" science with action and drama. I thought the characters, dilemmas, and filming was all expertly done.…

I gave it a 3/5 because it was enjoyable but it could have been 4/5 or more if the script was better. It had potential to become really thought provoking and memorable if they 'pushed' it just a little bit more. They should have invested…

Original story, but predictable script. It was still pretty entertaining overall.
