Better than a lot of the predictable plots I have read lately. Not great literature but enjoyable with some twists and turns. The ending was quite clever. Plus how can you not love Sunshine?

Among the decidedly mixed reactions to this book, count me with those readers who loved it and found it nostalgic, heartwarming and bittersweetly charming. I enjoyed every aspect, including the concept, characters, story, writing, setting,…

Such a “pleasant” read. An adult fairy tale. Book really got me half way thru and further. I even chuckled a few times out loud. The very last sentence got me too! 4.5/5

I did not like this book. Too much going on and the story wasn't captivating.

I love a cozy, fluffy read, but this is just too chockablock with cliched fancifulness to be enjoyable. Every character is a caricature. The evil sister is irredeemable. The Down's Syndrome child is too pure for this world and has second…

I did not like the novel. I thought it was too amateur and too many stories. The love interest was boring . It had too any plots.

This is a sweet story about love and some of the mementos we have in our lives that conjure up a special meaning. After an author passes away, his hobby of collecting lost items is passed on to his housekeeper/assistant. He leaves…

'The Keeper of Lost Things' is a tender, gentle, quite humorous story about finding value in the lost and discarded. That value is writ large in the character of Sunshine, who was bullied for her slowness and odd turn of speech. As she…

So it's not great literature! But for a tale to enjoy during the long days of Covid-19 stay at home it was a welcome addition to my reading. I loved the fact that there were so many quaint British sayings and phrases that I needed to…

A quaint story that goes back and forth between a repository for lost things, and short stories of how and by whom the items were lost. I don't normally like interrupted storylines, but the author was skillful with her transitions. This…

Adorable story and short stories added in between. Somewhat slow though.

Meh. A cute idea for a story but lacked much depth. Characters are one dimensional and the story line is predictable. A read that doesn’t challenge you to think too much if that’s what you are looking for.

Although a bit slow to start, this charming, quirky novel is part mystery, part love story, part ghost story, and part ode to the world's collectors (aka pack rats). When Laura is hired to be Anthony Peardew's personal assistant, she…
