I was THRILLED when I discovered my library has The Cornetto Trilogy DVDs: Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End created by Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright. I haven't seen these movies in years so I'm really looking forward to a…

After the original Night of the Living Dead, Shaun of the Dead is the best of the zombie movies. It works very well as a comedy and as a horror movie. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are excellent as a pair of slackers in London who don't…
Whether it's a comedy, a horror, a musical, or whatever - I have to tell you that I am absolutely "sick-to-death" of zombie movies. I really am.
Someone (whose opinion I trusted) told me that "Shaun of the Dead" was a…
Shaun of the Dead is a British romantic comedy about a zombie apocalypse directed by Edgar Wright, one of my personal favourite directors. Starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, it's a very entertaining movie. Shaun of the Dead is part of the…

An ordinary slacker bloke gets a major wake-up call as zombies invade the 'hood. Scary periods of zombie attacks alternate with humorous scenes of family and friends bickering over strategy and survival tactics as they fight their way…

I rather enjoyed this movie! Killing zombies would not be fun, I'm sure. Although, the characters did well with what they had. This movie was quite funny all through, and at some points, I actually wish I were there in the pub with them…
One of my biggest beefs behind my major disappointment of "Shaun of the Dead" was that, for more than half of the goddamn time, I could not - (I repeat) - I COULD NOT understand WTF!? anyone was saying. I'm not kidding!
Yeah. OK. I know…

Having seen all of the movies Edgar Wright has directed except A Fistful of Fingers, I like Shaun of the Dead best. Wright also directed Baby Driver, The World's End, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Hot Fuzz; they are all worth seeing.…

The first part of a trilogy and the best one; and a wonderful parody for horror-lovers to see how Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright frantically play with the cliches of the genre.

This is a good movie with some genuine laughs in it- though I do think that some people over rate the movie at times. Worth watching though if you haven't seen it.
This movie! The actors know how to deliver their lines and give this zombie movie the perfect amount of comedy to make you forget that it's a zombie movie :)

One of the funniest movies ever! Still really fun a second time through! Edgar Wright's humor is not all dialogue, there is humor in the framing of shots, physical humor, funny sounds/music, etc.
