Add a CommentWilson is a bitter misanthrope who desperately longs for real love, but that can be challenging when you genuinely hate society and every person in it. Clowes skillfully uses Wilson's acidic voice to espouse weighty social commentary about the empty worthlessness of modern life. This graphic novel was adapted into a 2017 Hollywood film staring Woody Harrelson.
Always bitter, occasionally poignant. Connected single page stories.
Funny and touching story about an aging misanthrope.
I found Wilson to be entertaining and fun, especially because you can digest the story as you wish as it's all broken down into a series of one-page cartoons.
