Naruto Shippuden: Season One: Box Set 3; (episodes 27-39): The quest to retrieve and bring Gaara back comes to a close when Naruto’s tenacious spirit, as per usual, seems to seep into those around him and ends up bringing Gaara back from the depths of death, itself. Thus this opening story arc, concluding its close, shows the immaculate manifestations of what it may take to be an amazing amigo and an affable friend. To those who have wearily walked alone in their own abysmal darkness, and to those who have had direly, deathly and gravely despaired in it, Naruto and Gaara are the most likely qualified candidates to want to actually make break from that kind of existence. And Gaara and Naruto have definitely walked those paths of deathly destruction and paths of curative construction. After the first first season story arc had finished, there was this short, this sort of silly interview being conducted by Sakura and Naruto at some kind of congratulatory gala whereby of the sand shinobi who were involved from the first season story arc were asked questions with regards to the story arc wrapping up; their quick corresponding thinking thoughts and apt answers to these happening events were expressed with mostly Tamara and her brother getting angry about not getting enough air-time while Gaara maintained a cool candor, “thanks for the save…I owe you yet again” kind of statement to Naruto; I thought then this implementing device to be witty, and it to be a witty way to wrap up first season’s initial first story of the new series. Sai, a new enlisted group member joins Sakura and Naruto; and additionally Kakashi Sensei gets temporarily replaced by a Captain Yamato, (Yamato being his working pseudo name and it being his code name). Sai seems like he is Naruto’s new nemesis…now whether Sai has hostile intentions…it doesn’t seem likely to me, but Naruto really seems to hate him, and Naruto seems to secrete hate for Sai and for his avant-garde and blithe-like attitudes…(Although, it can be said that Sai’s demeanor and countenance can be seen or can be construed as being of that of a cold and callous kind). As there hasn’t been many moments to bond, and so the bonds between Sai, Naruto, and Sakura have not been benignly built; so unlike the personal rivalry of the likes that Sasuke and Naruto had…Sai is seen by Naruto as someone not to be his venerated rival…and so, since they all have to carry out said mission together, in Naruto’s eyes, Sai will be seen as someone that Naruto has to openly and outwardly hate.
