Since my parents are from Kerala, I especially enjoyed watching this movie with my kids. My only complaint is that several of the pronunciations are not correct. Other than that, though, great footage of rubber-making, pepper processing, the backwaters, and katha kalli.

The most interesting, the most educational documentary about India I've ever watched ( and I watched MANY). I also appreciate that the host wasn't trying to be in the spotlight (like many others) and you get to watch India instead (people, places, spices etc.) Very pleasant and relaxing to watch.

The spices were covered in the beginning 15% of the program. The rest was rice, tea, and religion. I was expecting something really focusing more on the spices.

This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. “Not too bad---good performance”. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”
