I really enjoyed this book. The fantasy world that Sharon Shinn creates is great. Imagine people who you could tell all of your secrets to and also people who could only tell the truth. I was even surprised at the twist at the end. I haven't read the companion book, the Truth Teller's Tale, but I hope it's just as good.

YA magical fiction. Well characterised, intricate plot, fun characters. Like most of S. Shinn's books, all turns out well in the end, however there are some twists and turns prior to that ending.
