Emmanuel is a one in a million person who overcomes being born disabled by a shriveled leg. In Ghana disabled people a shunned because they are considered bad luck and evil. They are forced to beg in the streets to survive. Yet this young man goes on to be a national hero in his country levering this success and gaining attention in America where he is given a prosthesis.

Instead of resting on his laurels or staying in America he returns to fight for the rights of the 2 million disabled people in his home country.
His achievements lead to him being compared to Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu as a hero for the African Continent.

Very inspirational! A story about a hero that lives today, in Africa, from the most humble of beginnings. Everyone should know about Emmanuel!
