Jackie Chan stars as Dragon, a marital arts student whose brother Tiger is the star student of the school. Just before the annual lion dance competition, Tiger is injured and Dragon is chosen to take his place. Dragon loses the competition to the rival kung fu academy, who fights dirty. During the competition, Dragon discovers that the rival lion dancer is his brother Tiger, who has taken a bribe from the rival school. When Tiger is trhown out of the school he becomes involved in the underworld.
