Add a CommentI think I have checked this one out three times thinking I am getting something other than this film. The cover is interesting looking but the film is not.
A low budget B or C film promoting the merits of losing your inhibitions and mind for a night. Not recommended.
I could not find impressive things of this film like advertisement of film.

A very slight, but amusing little movie. I read that it was shot in about 2 weeks and it feels more like a TV episode than a film. A couple newly arrived in L.A. with their kid meet a seemingly hip, arty couple who also have a kid. They're invited over for dinner and, well, things get a little strange. The cast makes it worthwhile: Adam Scott, Taylor Schilling ("Orange is the New Black"), Jason Scwartzman, some French actress. Also, full frontal male nudity! Although I also read that the wore prosthetic members. Written and directed by Patrick Brice and produced by Mark and Jay Duplass.
The last five minutes (meeting in the park at the end) ruined the entire movie for me.
Could be prelude to the Californication TV series? Got suckered to watch this sitcom starring Taylor Schilling (Orange Is the New Black.) With little information in the description, sat through the whole movie following two pairs of young couples’ unexpected social agenda from evening dinner to dawn inside a LA mansion.
This film was soo freakin' hilarious; and I can be hard to please in this respect. No doubt the entire synopsis for this flic came out of some herbally-enhanced musing over a "what if"-scenario regarding a couple of "let's make friends" types couples tend to meet and then (for some, perhaps not) regret more than they can imagine. "It's a French house"... yeah.
I found this movie very captivating, never a dull moment. The end is somewhat disappointing though but still the movie is entertaining.
Dreadful. I watched the first half hour, then skipped ahead to the ending. If you like Adam Scott, watch DVDs of "Parks & Recreation" instead. If you like Taylor Schilling, watch "Orange in the New Black" instead. If you like Jason Schwartzman, we just can't be friends.
