Okay, dinosaurs and action. If that's what you want, can't go wrong. The story is weak, with it's fair share of idiotic character's. Bryce Dallas Howard's character is so annoying, had to struggle not to shut movie off. Rate this one 3rd out of the 4 Jurassic movie's, but it made lot's of money.

Jurassic World uses the most realistic CGI that I’ve ever seen that brings the whole film to life; when I watched the movie with my family, I felt so immersed! Jurassic World is a great twist to the other movies in the franchise because of the new plotline. The whole film revolves around the new and improved Jurassic Park (now called Jurassic World) and a new attraction that starts chaos for the whole region. I loved the action packed scenes because of how unique they were compared to the majority of movies out there. The scenes were able to show human versus extinct species unlike other movies that just have human versus human. Jurassic World was written by Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Colin Trevorrow (who also directed the movie), and Derek Connolly and won the MTV Movie Award for Best Action Sequence in 2016. The incredible cast features talented Chris Pratt (who plays Owen), Nick Robinson (who plays Zach), Bryce Dallas Howard (who plays Claire), Katie McGrath (who plays Zara), and Ty Simpkins (who plays Gray). I would recommend the movie to anyone who enjoys the Jurassic Park series because it follows in the footsteps of its past movies. Overall, I would give the movie 4/5 stars.

Yes, a lot like Jurassic Park. I really enjoyed the first two of those, got really lame after that. But delighted with new take on same.
Likely watch jurassic park again.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow in 2015, this American SF fantasy depicts the adventures and activities of the Jurassic World theme park.
Superb are the visual effects and CGI as well as life-sized animatronics of the chaos when the genetically-engineered dinosaurs escape from the enclosure and go on a rampage.
However, it appears confusing when one dinosaur attacks another; which one is good one?
In any case, I enjoyed it to the hilt as an entertaining popcorn thriller.

I am 51-years-old and I have loved dinosaurs since my early childhood. I soaked up every book with illustrations that I could find, and was enraptured by dinosaur movies. I believed the creatures portrayed on the big screen when I was a child, before the advent of computer graphics, looked realistic, but nowadays I laugh at how silly those"ancient" special effects were. Now the dinosaurs in movies truly appear alive - they look real, sound real, and act real. When I watched this feature I recaptured the wonder I felt toward dinosaurs when I was a kid. I felt young again, and experienced joy and awe as I once did when I used to daydream and fantasized about these incredible, mysterious creatures. I highly recommend you see this movie in order to bring joy to, and experience your inner child.

Too much cliche. It sounds strange for this kind of movie, but at certain point it become annoying. Beautiful CGI though.

just good fun!

Innovative and subversive all at the same time. It's a good movie, and younger fans will probably prefer this over the original (blasphemy, right?) but I understand their choice. Personally, as admirable of an effort as this is, and it is easily the second best film in the franchise, it cannot hold a candle to Jurassic Park.

You know those things you loved in Jurassic Park: exciting action, interesting characters, and a little food for thought? Don't look for them here. "Jurassic World" is a decent description of where the people who wrote this movie must have come from. I'm not saying that they are dumber than dinosaurs; but they aren't any smarter.

A fun ride, and Chris Pratt is looking great.

Masrani: You created a monster!

Henry Wu: Monster is a relative term. To a canary, a cat is a monster. We're just used to being the cat.

Masrani: It's white. You never told me it was white.
Claire: Think it will scare the kids?
Masrani: The kids? This will give the parents nightmares.

Claire: That's not a real dinosaur.
No, it ain't, kid. But somebody's gotta make sure that this company has a future. Imagine... that one, a fraction of the size... deadly... intelligent... able to hide from the most advanced military technology. A living weapon unlike anything we've ever seen. You see? Millions of years of evolution... what did we learn? Nature is the gift that just--
Owen: The asset? Look, I get it. You're in charge out here. You gotta make a lot of tough decisions. It's probably easier to pretend these animals are just numbers on a spreadsheet. But they're not. They're alive.
Claire: I'm fully aware they're alive.
Owen: You might have made them in a test tube, but they don't know that. They're thinking, "I gotta eat." "I gotta hunt. I gotta... (hand sign of making out)." You can relate to at least
one of those things. Right?

You look tense, Claire. Maybe you should just focus on the controls. The key to a happy
life is to accept you are never actually in control. You should spend a day at the beach. Get some sun. ... Don't forget why we built this place, Claire. Jurassic World exists to remind us how very small we are. How new. You can't put a price on that.
Since the day we hired you out of the Navy. You knew the end game. These animals can replace thousands of boots on the ground. How many lives would that save? War is part of nature. Look around, Owen. Every living thing in this jungle... is trying to murder the other. Mother Nature's way of testing her creations. Refining the pecking order. War is a struggle. Struggle breeds greatness. Without that... we end up with places like this,
charge seven bucks a soda.
