In the Ninth century, a group of Vikings, is approaching Britain, aiming to plunder the rich monasteries in the north of the island. But their ship gets caught in a storm and is smashed to pieces on the rocks off the coast of Scotland, the only part of Britain without any Viking settlements. When the daughter of the Scottish King by chance falls into Viking hands, they see the opportunity for demanding a large ransom.

Add a CommentBetter than your average low-budget action movie. It's not quite Lord of the Rings or 300, but it never drags or bogs you down with bad acting. And at only 100 minutes, it's not a waste of time.
Two forces of grunting barbarians hack and stab one another for an hour and half. There is a brunette in a red dress who is somehow involved. No cliché is forgotten!
I am not going to say that I disliked this movie because I enjoyed the action and I thought the casting was pretty great but the end had me arguing with my television.
I would recommend this to anyone who likes movies with a lot of action and a good amount of adventure but isn't hung up on things like plot.
Lots of action. Good acting.
