Summary
Add a SummaryThis is one of the best comedies of the 90's and is one of my favorite John Cusack roles. Martin Blank is cool, funny and completely badass. I liked this movie cause it was pretty original, was filmed well, the acting was good all the way around, and how can you not like a movie where Dan Aykroyd is an evil hit man. Add to that Jeremy Piven, Joan Cusack and Minnie Driver, well, it is just plain great. Add to that the totally rocking soundtrack and fun action set pieces and you got yourself a good time. I have yet to go to a real high-school reunion myself, but if I do I am going to tell people that I am a hit man, and no, that doesn't come with dental. Awesome.

Quotes
Add a QuoteMarcella: You know, when you start getting invited to your 10-year high school reunion, time is catching up.
Martin Q. Blank: Are you talking about a sense of my own mortality or a fear of death?
Marcella: Well, I never really thought about it quite like that.
Martin Q. Blank: Did you go to yours?
Marcella: Yes, I did. It was just as if everyone had swelled.

Add a Comment2 great movies. truly funny grosse point blank and high fidelity were so funny i could laugh so hard you won't stop. a must own dvd collection.
The thing I loved most about this movie is that it was a reunion for the class of 1986 which is my high school class as well. I didn't care for the action and violence but I loved John Cusack and Minnie Driver.
Watching Grosse Pointe Blank should be a prerequisite for attending a high school reunion. It is very funny and has a great soundtrack and cast, including the always excellent Alan Arkin.
The only thing better than John Cusack in a film, is Joan and John Cusack in the same film. A majorly fun flick.
Love this film Always and forever. 6/8/15 2:33p. M.
Though there's not much to really write home about here, I can’t deny this one is quite a lot of fun. Nothing wrong with a movie just being cute and amusing every now and then I guess.
Like high school, this movie is probably better than you remember. Scenes feel improvised, if you like that kind of thing, and the supporting cast is great: Joan Cusack, Alan Arkin, Frank Azaria. I love the soundtrack, though the songs are not necessarily appropriate to what is happening on-screen. It's by Joe Strummer, so I got over it.
John Cusack awesome
