I loved both main characters in this book. They each evolved in their understanding of each other, dating and the opposite sex. There was a great sense of fun all through the story.

I would so love to give this book to anyone who thinks that romance novels aren't feminist, because there's no way they could possibly think that after reading this one. It works on a feminist level in two different ways: both in showing how the heroine, Bernie, comes to understand that being in love and in a relationship doesn't have to define her any more than she lets being single define her, and in showing how the hero, Colin, comes to better understand both women in general and Bernie in particular from seeing what dating is like for a woman. Also, the premise for this book (the heroine is a librarian who becomes a meme) is just so clever and funny. AND the book in general is hilarious and charming and super readable and just a loooooot of fun. Highly recommended!
