In a world that feels awash with cardboard, this book is an excellent resource for turning those endless boxes into toys, games, and art projects. Good instructions with photographs of projects.

My 10-year-old daughter is LOVING this book! She has already made the lion mask and zebra mask, and they turned out so awesome! It is definitely more advanced and not for everyone's skill and endurance levels. But if your kid is uninspired by basic cardboard creation books and needs more of a challenge, this book is more than up to the task.

This book is okay. It has some creative resources and ideas like ways to help children cut cardboard materials, and a few templates for game making, but overall it is pretty intensive, and the examples in the book were almost too polished with that adult centered "look at how good this looks" finish which I didn't like. I think children need to see work made by children especially when it is a book to help them get their creative juices flowing. Lastly, the one project in the book I thought my elementary students would love, the paper tube lizards, didn't end up having a template in the back, where as all the others did. If you are an adult and you want to show off how crafty you can be, this book is for you. I won't say it didn't inspire me, as a teacher I can build on the base of these crafts, but almost all of the crafts need to be modified to actually be appropriate for age group it targets. However, if you are working with your children one-on-one (and you don't have an entire 30 kiddo class like me) you might be able to give your child the support they need to be successful at some of these projects.

Great crafts and fun to make at home with items you may already have! Environmentally friendly too.
