The personal experience of the author adds some extra depth to this story.
Well-constructed mystery. The author gives the reader a fair chance of guessing who commited the murder. Unlike some writers whose protagonist is constantly asking themselves, "Could it be so-and-so or so-and-so..." with long musings over the evidence, this author just summarizes the evidence and allows the reader to think for themselves. A good read.
