Enjoyed this
Wind I will to get this the outpost
Contains one of the most suspenseful firefights I've seen in a war drama.
3* A bit to slow for me. I fast forwarded at times just to move the story along.
I could only watch this movie for its production values which were outstanding. Unfortunately, the DVD did not provide sub-titles for any hard of hearing viewers like myself. As a result, I missed the full experience which was disappointing.
To think our young men are placed in the hands of leaders that don't have any more since than this movie shows is scary to me.
Excellent war film. Very authentic. 1000 times better than 1917.
Absolutely one of THE best war movies ever made. Based on a true story, a miracle that ANYONE survived to write about it. Book turned into a heart-pounding, rapid fire movie that doesn't let you down in the story, the dialog, the action, the fire-fights, the explosions, etc. Interactions with the local residents and with military superiors confound the troops on top of DAILY attacks by the enemy.
