Fast paced and very harsh sounding. The growling of the singer makes the songs' words unintelligible.
Highly insightful social commentary framed around some of the most radical, infectuous metal riffs not heard since the classic heyday of british metal acts Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath. One of the coolest things about this album are the number of classical guitar interludes sprinkled throughout the album which add a ton of dynamics and a epicness usually reserved for the likes of Wagner.
Nobody wanted this when it came out.
