fairly simple and modern quilting projects, if you've never quilted before it might be a good beginner book

Love Denyse-she' provides some lovely projects but also goes a lot deeper than those "project" based books. She has an excellent description of how-to-do French seams, large quilt binding, taming your iron and provides inspirational examples of combining heavy-textured and fine weave fabric. This one is a keeper.
