Mary Ingles was twenty-three, married, and pregnant, when Shawnee Indians invaded her peaceful Virginia settlement, killed the men and women, then took her captive. This is an awesome book, main character is a super-strong female character who is very inspirational. Historically very interesting from both First American and settlers point of view.
Highly recommend.
