Not great. Higgins is not big on character development. The action is pretty predictable and not very intelligent.
I enjoyed The Judas Gate, written 10 years after Day of Reckoning, so I guess Higgins improved.

Day Of Reckoning ---- by Jack Higgins c - 2000 (Sean Dillon Story) ---- This is a good read with a great flow or balance to it. I enjoyed the action and character build. The story was not overboard or off the cuff. ---- Enjoy! ---- RichardPaul
