Parker was fully invested in his characters and does a good job fleshing out his Spenser character with a look back to his childhood. Too bad he could never give Spenser a First Name!
It was great glimpsing the formation of the man he became.
Book #37 Not Yet Held
I think fans of Parker and the Spenser character will enjoy this look into his early life. I noticed a slight rewrite in Spenser's early life near the end of the book.
