As she demonstrates in this uproarious and often poignant performance, Carrie Fisher is not just an accomplished actress, screenwriter and best selling author. She's the offspring of showbiz royalty, daughter of celebrated actress Debbie Reynolds and crooner Eddie Fisher, whose very public affair with Elizabeth Taylor ended a storybook marriage. Reveals the not-so-glittering side of being a celebrity, combining wry wit and raw facts to humanize Fisher's topsy-turvy life.

Now that Carrie has passed away, it is an historical film. Covered the events that audiences would like to hear about. She is folksy & fun.

An "OK" show. The most enjoyable part of the DVD lies in Special Features which includes an interview with her mom, Debbie Reynolds.

Princess Leia fans should skip this one if they don't want their fantasies shattered. Carrie Fisher exhibits her virtuosity by presenting sobering truths in such an entertaining and endearing way that you will be laughing with her at her tragedies. A must see for those who enjoy behind the scene stories and unvarnished biographies.

It was not what I expected. I thought it was about her addictions and alcohol. It was instead all about her life and her family, explaining in a funny way how she ended up the person she is today. I enjoyed it. It was amusing.

Well the Title fooled me as I thought it would be about Drinking, very little talk about that, mostly about her parent's life and some of hers. Some parts were funny but that was it.

A few good lines but other than that, it's one-sided talk therapy presented as theatre. It would work better as a written memoir but as performed it comes off as self-serving.

If you have ever read one of Carrie Fisher's books, or seen an interview with her, you know she is a very funny lady. In this one-woman show, Carries tells stories of growing up Hollywood Royalty (and the downfalls of that), to her iconic role of Princess Leia in the first Star Wars movies, to her battles with drugs and alcohol and mental illness. Told with razor sharp wit, she manages to make these somewhat sad stories hilariously funny. This DVD is well worth 76mins of your time.
