For their second album, Fleet Foxes draw inspiration from late 1960s and early 1970s folk rock, in particular Van Morrison's Astral Weeks album, while heightening and extending themselves with added instrumentation and a focus on clear lyrics and group vocal harmonies.

One of the strongest albums I've heard in a long time and certainly one of the best new albums from 2011. Almost all the songs are excellent and very catchy, particularly after a couple listens through. They remind me of a cross between Simon and Garfunkel with My Morning Jacket. But if you like groups such as Grizzly Bear or other indie-folk-rock music like the Decemberists, you'll really like this one.

Great album. I can listen to the title track over and over again.
