Enjoyable movie as far as acting, cinematography, etc., but either the writer lives in a fantasy land or he wrote the script in a way that he wished the world worked. Racism runs deep. Spoiler Alert for the rest of my comment: I don't buy that as a white cop you can molest a black woman, humiliate her and her husband one day and the next day risk your life for the same woman in a car that is about to explode into flames. Leopards don't change their spots. I don't buy that a black thug who runs over an Asian man and wants to leave the man in the street to die, has an epiphany of sorts after another black man saves his hide in a very dangerous situation resulting in the thug to later free a family of Asians hiding in the back of a van that he stole, especially when he was offered $500 per Asian! Racism runs deep. It can't be switched on or off like light switch. I suppose the writer thought that hanging Christmas wreaths all over town would help the audience believe in miracles, but I think he watched "It's A Wonderful Life" too many times when he was a kid. Nice thoughts, too bad they're not realistic.
