I so enjoy reading about J. P. Beaumont that I don't get caught in some of the nit-pickey stuff some others are mentioning in their reviews. Sins of the Fathers is, as many of J A Jance's books are a great read. The characters are quite familiar by now, after a number of books have been published, but are still able to surprise me here and there in small ways ... which makes them interesting and not formulaic (boring) as some authors / characters can become. Beau, his family, his friends, all come together nicely in a good story about family relationships and life. I'm being purposely general because to say much about the story details gives away some fun surprises. Can't wait for the next book.
