Well written and interesting. This book it certainly a worthy read. It definitely offers a very different and valuable portrait of Mary Magdalene. I couldn't say with any certainty, nor does this book provide any proof, that she was Jesus' consort, but, even within scripture if we read with an open mind an heart, she was one of his more devout followers, and in that respect his companion. Anything more than that is pure speculation, even if entirely possible. In any case, one will, at the very least, come away from this book with another perspective of Mary Magdalene other than the harlot that orthodox Christianity has painted her as even though she has since been vindicated of such false history even by the Catholic church. Overall, a very good read that is well written and adequately researched.
