Good - You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008). I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually like this picture. I found myself laughing uncontrollably at times. The laughs came not from the multiple crude sexual jokes but the clever whitism of the Arab-Israeli conflict. The one line that was memorable involved two ladies in a cab getting into an argument with the Arab cab driver. One lady said to the other in mumbled whisper "He might be a terrorist" [stereotypical of course but it brought to light American prejudices of people from the Middle East]. The other line was from Sandler himself who didn't want to tell his parents that he may be working for a Palestinian "They've [his parents] suffered enough". There were the funny Get Smart [original series] related spoofs of the "Al-Queda Hotline", who have a computer receptionist to direct your call. If you strip all the crude sexual humor out of this picture, you may only have a 45 minute film but what's left is pretty funny. Unfortunately, the resolution of Arab-Iraeli aggressions is kiind of naive - I'd recommend the far superior "The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming" for a great way in which two peoples who have been raised to hate each other end up working and respecting each other.
