If you are a fan of action movies like Top Gun, Hunt for Red October, The Battle Britain, Star Wars, then do not bother with this film. The CGI was very obvious and the backgrounds did not move as quickly as the planes were supposed to be flying. Here it is very interesting to compare The Empire Strikes Back, which filmed from an aircraft and then sped up the frames until the vision matched what would actually be seen from a high-speed aircraft. The plot in Stealth rather pushed the bounds of credibility. A flight from central Euroasia that passes over North Korea is not believable when a very very minor change in course would have avoided it -- just look at a map of Asia. Vertical take offs might look different from current technology: no one does it now simply because it wastes too much fuel -- again, just not believable. On this note, aircars moving vertically in Blade Runner are believable because crowding in cities would require it -- it is not not gratuitous special effects to hide a mediocre plot.
